When I started blogging sometime around 2010, blogrolls were the way to go. In recent years, they have somehow disappeared from the blogosphere as part of the “professionalisation” process. A shame – in my opinion. After all, it was always a good way to discover wonderful projects. At the same time, the blogrolls always had a kind of credibility check for me. It’s precisely for these two reasons that I’m reviving the somewhat outdated blogroll and linking to some of our esteemed colleagues. Known and unknown. Celebrated and accepted, but somehow still around. And that’s all that counts!

Photography Blogs

  • Teymur Visuals
  • Visuelle-Gedanken
On Visuelle Gedanken Martin Wolf shared visual impressions from his everyday life. Unfortunately there are no new posts at the moment, but I am confident that this could change. That’s why he simply stays on the blogroll
  • Stilpirat
Stilpirat is the former wedding photographer Steffen Böttcher. Meanwhile his blog is a kind of philosophical photo journey with rare but very inspiring blog posts about life with photography
  • Sascha Höcker
  • Christoph Boecken
In his blog, the Berlin photographer gives wonderfully personal insights into his perspective on photography. He also shares wonderful analogue photos with us.
  • Kwerfeldein
Perhaps the best known German photo magazine on the Internet. Once founded by Martin Grommel. Now run by Katja Kemnitz.
  • Journal von Markus Thoma
On his journal, Markus Thoma writes a visually very beautiful blog about photography. Especially interesting for newcomers, because it gives insights into the technique and techniques of photography.
  • Andreas Jorns
Andreas is now known for his black and white photography and countless illustrated books. On his blog, he shares background information, stories and social topics related to his photos. Worth reading.
  • OpenTable Blog
The OpenTable is an open event format in Cologne for picture reviews by photographers. On the blog you will find the next events, as well as reviews and the previous and OpenTable podcast.
  • Florian Spieker
On his personal blog, photographer Florian Spieker writes regularly and in detail about encounters and his photography
